Main Interests

My research focuses on Cognitive Linguistics, Teaching Chinese as a Foreign Language, International Chinese Language Education, Western Sinology (Chinese Teaching), and the spread of Chinese languages in Western countries.

The research projects I am currently in charge ofare supported bythe National Philosophy and Social Sciences Fund (NO. 15BYY052) and the Humanities and Social Sciences Fund of the Ministry of Education of China (NO. 13YJAZH021).

Recently, I led the completion of the Construction and Research of the "Four-Dimensional" Characteristic Sinology Case Database, a research project of the Language Cooperation and Exchange Center of the Ministry of Education. I am also in charge of a special project supported by the FundamentalResearch Funds for the Central Universities, entitled "A Study on the Westward Transmission of Shanshu(善书) and Their Influence on the Spread of Chinese Civilization".
