MENG FanjieisPh.D. in Chinese Philology,Professor,andDoctoral Supervisor.She has engaged in academic exchanges and Chinese language teaching in the United States, the United Kingdom, the Philippines, Indonesia, and other countries.

She has published extensively in leading Chinese academic journals, including Studies of the Chinese Language, Minority Languages of China, Research in Ancient Chinese Language, Studies in Language and Linguistics, and Journal of Xiamen University(Arts & Social Science).She is an author of multiple scholarly monographs in linguistics and textbooks in International Chinese Language Education. As principal investigator, she has led numerousprovincial- and ministerial-level research projects funded by the Ministry of Education, the State Language Commission, the Overseas Chinese Affairs Office of the State Council, and the Center for Language Education and Cooperation.
