Xiamen Night

On the evening of October 15, 2025, at the "Xiamen Night" supporting gala of the 2025 IATA World Safety and Operations Conference (WSOC) hosted by Xiamen Airlines, 20 international students from the College of Chinese International Education / Overseas Education College of Xiamen University, representing 20 different countries, appeared in the finale program. Dressed in their traditional national costumes and after professional guidance, rehearsals, and multiple run-throughs, the students performed a bilingual Chinese and English chorus of "Auld Lang Syne." Their performance, combined with the stage presentation of a traditional Chinese Hanfu dance troupe and Xiamen Airlines staff, created a visual and cultural fusion. During the singing, many guests from various countries in the audience joined in, receiving enthusiastic responses.
