²         Time: 8:00-11:30 in the morning; 14:30-17:30 in the afternoon

²         Place: OEC Office Building

²         Documents to Bring: passport, Admission Notice, Visa Application Form for Foreigners (Jw202 form), 10 two-inch photos, Physical Examination Record for Foreigners, bank’s receipt for tuition fees payment, graduation certificate or HSK certificate.

²         Registration procedures:

1)         Feb. 13^th and 14^th:

a.                Get Tuition Payment Notice from OEC, pay your tuition fee and registration fee in banks on campus (bank work hours: 9:00-17:00) and keep the bank receipt.

b.                Back to OEC, fill Registration Form for New Overseas Student and change the bank receipt for XMU invoice in OEC finance room.

c.                Update your information in our student system, such as passport number, visa validity, address, telephone number, tuition invoice data.

d.                We will take a photo of you for e-card use. 20RMB of e-card production fee is charged.

e.                Hand in your physical examination record (if there is) to officers from Xiamen Quarantine Bureau present at the registration. 60RMB is charged by them for verifying the record.

f.                 Purchase insurance suitable for your length of study, around 100-600RMB.

g.                Collect your student ID card, XMU map and other documents

h.                Brief interview with Chinese teachers.

2)         Feb. 16^th:

a.                Opening ceremony the multi-functional hall of Lian Xing building

b.                Chinese placement test for new students in Lian Xing building

c.                Campus tour in the afternoon.

3)         Feb. 17^th: Physical examination in Xiamen Quarantine Bureau

a.                Students who need to change their visa but haven’t done their health check.

b.                Please bring your passport, 4 photos and about 450RMB.

c.                No breakfast or water is allowed before the blood test.

4)         Feb. 19^th:

a.                Class name lists with courses, classrooms and teachers’ names are published in the lobby of Lian Xing building.

b.                Meet the teachers in classrooms.

c.                Buy books in the multi-functional hall.

5)         Feb. 20^th: Class begins.
