On Dec.26 the “2006 Global IELTS evening—Second Graduate New Year Evening” was held in the Jiannan Auditorium, with the sponsorship of the Graduate School of the University and the support of the Institute of South Asian Studies, the College of the Humanities and the School of Life Sciences. Graduates from the three institutions put on very individual performances and displays.

Amazing jazz-dance, delightful popular songs, amusing cross-talk, and a special fashion show … everything received enthusiastic applause from the audience. The event was attended by Xiamen University Vice-President Li Jianfa, the Director of the Admissions Office Zhan Xinli and various other leaders. It was covered by the media, including Fujian TV, the Xiamen Daily, the Xiamen Evening News and others.
