On August 30, a Mid-Autumn “Hawaiian Luau” theme pool party was held at Palm Beach Club, Straits International Community (SIC) in Xiamen. 


Organized by La Luna Events, the party attracted nearly 50 party-goers from SIC expat families and foreign companies like ECCO Xiamen, Taikoo Xiamen, Xiamen Airlines, and Xiamen International School to name a few. The guests were from a wide range of different nationalities: China, U.S.A., Germany, Denmark, Holland, Belgium, Spain, Australia, Italy, Panama and Korea were all represented.

The guests embraced the dress code by wearing a variety of attractive Hawaiian garments. They competed for prizes in different categories, the most Hawaiian costume, the sexiest costume and the most popular costume, to name but a few.

The special Hawaiian games (limbo dance and pineapple on the head) were the spotlight of the party. All the party-goers enjoyed a fun day of dancing, specialty drinks and meeting new friends. 


The party got great support from REME Club, Seaview Resort Xiamen, Tastylife, Kingland SPA, ABC Dental Group, Coyote, Salute Pizza, and Beauty Tech.
