From February 11 to 13, the Confucius Institute at Mae Fah Luang University successfully held the themed cultural camp “Study in China · Dream for the Future,” focusing on scholarships for studying in China. More than 80 teachers and students from Chiang Rai Fifth Secondary School participated in the event.
The camp featured scholarship information sessions and immersive Chinese cultural experiences, including introductions to various scholarship programs and application procedures, as well as activities such as Baduanjin, Peking Opera mask painting, paper-cutting, traditional Chinese painting, and a sign-language song performance.
Through engaging lectures and hands-on cultural activities, the camp helped students gain a clearer understanding of pathways to studying in China, strengthened their motivation to learn Chinese, and further highlighted the Institute’s role as a bridge for promoting Chinese language education and cultural exchange in Northern Thailand.
