On February 12, Cagayan Valley University, as a teaching point under Confucius Institute at the University of the Philippines, hosted a warm “Welcoming Spring, Painting the Year of the Horse” event. Participants learned traditional customs through the “Nian” monster legend and created vibrant artworks featuring horses and festive blessings. This interactive session allowed students to experience Chinese culture firsthand, highlighting the Institute’s commitment to making cultural education tangible and engaging.
