From 26 to 30 January (local time), the Confucius Institute at Victoria University of Wellington (CI at VUW) successfully organized a five-day Orientation training programme for 2026 International Chinese Language Education Volunteers. 28 Volunteers took part in a comprehensive and well-structured programme covering four key areas: culture, teaching, daily life, and practical engagement. 

Through this systematic training, the volunteers enhanced their overall professional and intercultural competencies, laying a solid foundation for their upcoming Chinese language teaching and cultural exchange work, and preparing themselves with confidence and enthusiasm for their overseas teaching journey.
