On 28 January 2026, a group of 13 members from the “Southbound Breeze” South Africa Overseas Practice Team of Tsinghua University of the Department of Automation, Tsinghua University, visited the Confucius Institute at Stellenbosch University in South Africa. As an important platform for people-to-people and cultural exchange between China and South Africa, the Confucius Institute at Stellenbosch University fully play its role as a bridge and link, coordinating and carefully organising a full day of rich and multi-layered exchange activities. These activities covered secondary school science and technology interactions, dialogue among university youth, and cultural experience programmes, among other components.
