To enrich classroom teaching approaches and enhance students’ understanding of Chinese culture, the Confucius Institute at Middle East Technical University (METU) visited Kavaklidere Secondary School on January 8, 2026, to conduct Chinese culture experience activities for sixth-grade students. Focusing on Chinese tea culture, the program combined tea demonstrations with hands-on activities in calligraphy and Peking Opera mask painting, allowing students to learn about Chinese cultural traditions through observation and participation. With a combination of explanation, demonstration, and practice, the activities offered students an interactive classroom experience of Chinese culture.
