On June 5th, while the graduates of the School of Journalism and Communication from Xiamen University were taking their graduation pictures, a boy in a suit with a bouquet of flowers in his hand showed up and proposed to his girlfriend - one of the graduates - and got a yes to his proposal.
The boy, Lu, is a student at Xiamen University, too. He is a junior this year and has been dating his girlfriend, Ou, for more than 3 years.
Lu and Ou met each other at the freshmen welcome party and fell in love soon after. For the past 3 years, they had very ordinary and happy days. As Ou’s graduation day came, Lu made his decision to give Ou the surprise of a lifetime.
Lu planned the proposal for half a year. He took a part-time job to earn money to buy a diamond ring and organized a proposal planning team consisting of a dozen of his best friends. They modified the poem, which Lu wrote for Ou, to make it more touching, and he read it during the proposal, which deeply touched the hearts of the students and teachers present.
