HSK Certificate (Chinese Proficiency Test) for international students
All the programmes of the University are open to international students. Since the main courses are taught in Chinese, non-Chinese overseas applicants have to take the Chinese Proficiency Test (HSK): Band 6 for humanities applicants; Band 3 for Natural Sciences applicants. For the Chinese Proficiency Test (HSK), please contact Overseas Education College of the University.

Applying documents needed to submit for international students
Photocopies of the "Application Form for Admission of International Students to Study in Xiamen University" and the "Physical Examination Record for Foreigners" ,Ten 2-inch (passport-size) photos
Undergraduate study Photocopy of passport; High School Diploma and marks transcript; letters of recommendation; HSK Certificate
Master's study Photocopy of passport; Undergraduate Diploma and marks transcript; letters of recommendation from two professors; one or two academic papers
Doctoral study Photocopy of passport; Master's Diploma and marks transcript; letters of recommendation from two professors; one or two academic papers
